    Ministry of Economic Affairs Executes South Bound Policy / Held Wow! Taiwan Selects into Indonesian

    Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI), execution of high quality and affordable emerging market Taiwan Selects overseas in joint of marketing campaign, which is optimistic and innovative towards Indonesia's future consumer market and demographic dividend. This event focused on Indonesian from 20 to 45 year-old white-collar middle class, "Living Premium" as the main axis, with Taiwan's 15 companies in Neo SOHO mall at Jakarta for a five days (5/17-5/21) event; following year of 2016 from “Eat, Play, Love” as the theme of creating the image of Taiwan's dream paradise for local consumers to new approach to integration of induction technology, VR virtual reality and AR expansion of reality and other refreshing marketing publicity, to attract local consumers to enhance the good image of Taiwan.

    ASEAN Economic Community, the total population of more than 620 million, a huge population consumer power can be expected, especially in Indonesia's economic growth, the annual GDP of 5 to 6% growth, coupled with the size of 200 million population, domestic market continued to look good; CDRI found that Indonesia is different from the traditional Muslims in the Middle East - wearing a bright colorful dress and like to shop new things, so the opportunities for characteristic Taiwanese products is limitless. That explains the focus of local consumer’s favorite food, beauty, sports, health and other related products, such as: the main female customers of the collagen protein drink, herbal products, head massagers, mask to shampoo, etc. For men, surveillance video camera for cars, food and drinks plus 50 other items, all for local consumers to experience the charm of MIT goods. In addition to attract local consumers, we arranged substantial number of Indonesian distribution network buyers with participation of Taiwan enterprises to conduct business negotiations to help Taiwan enterprises entering the Indonesian market.
