Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI) and Department of Economic Development Taipei City Government held a "New Innovative Taipei" exchange event today on 29th. This exchange activity is based on the operation of the world café, which brings together the relevant resource requirements of innovation and entrepreneurship through group discussions and dialogues, including new ecosystems, space, regulations and policies, industrial resources and so on. Looking forward to the development of innovative site in Taipei of new elements to build hardware and software resources, links abroad and for the site development of next generation.
In recent years, Taipei City Government has been able to achieve entrepreneurial dreams in order to help innovative start-ups, such as the establishment of the "Start UP @ Taipei Entrepreneurship Services Office", which provides a one-stop shop through the integration of current business resources consultation and window to help innovative entrepreneurs practice dreams.
Director of Commerce Development & Policy Research Division (CDRI) – Dr. Huang Chao-Jen leading his research team and invited the participating entrepreneurs to brainstorm, the success of innovative site should have those space hardware and software conditions? Taipei City, the new and existing characteristics of the future highlights, what is the element? As well as the problems that may be encountered at the start-up phase and what is the required assistance? Hoping to gather the wisdom of the crowd, and industry together to create an innovative site in Taipei to develop the direction and vision.
Taipei City, a rich city for its innovation and entrepreneurship resource, by CDRI’s inventory that Taipei City has a total of 82 innovative site, 26 colleges and universities. At the same time, Taipei City is the most international city of whole nation, which has many corporate headquarters, activities and related competitions making them stay in Taipei City; in order to quickly integrate international industry trends and foster the best city innovation and entrepreneurship. In the future, Taipei City, under the advantages of the foundation with building a better business environment and strengthen industry resources integration and cooperation for a newer business alliance internationally
