    CDRI and GTI signed MOU today/ Taiwan and US Think Tank Alliance Creating New Strategic Horizon/ Bed

    Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI) on 22nd today, with members of the United States, Taiwan, Japan, Europe as the international think tank called Global Taiwan Institute, referred to as "GTI" together has signed a memorandum of understanding in Taipei, so that in the future the two sides can share scientific data, publications, databases and other research resources in exchange, this integration can enhance the visibility of CDRI and GTI linking Taiwan.

    In the speech, Chairman of CDRI, Tain-Tsair Hsu said that the economic, trade political and military sports culture of Taiwan and US is closely related since the second postwar period, although the form has not changed, but the development stage is now gradually seen in all aspects. Once again, we are in a new historical turning point, the two sides are bound to have an economic and trade relations; CDRI is the best commerce think tank, production and management of knowledge exchange platform, now, this is the 4th MOU signed since Chairman’s inauguration: Taichung City government since last year (2016.12.27), the Federation of B & B conference (2017.1.9) and with Penghu County, Singapore Banyan Tree Group, Argo Yacht Club since last month (2017.2.23). Each MOU is a symbol for CDRI and further step ahead, from cooperation with local government, lead to tourism and B & B related issues, integration through our excellent colleagues in the field of science and technology, intellectual expertise, networking, cultural innovation, environmental protection, internationalization moving forward; gradually show results, such as B & B owner elite class starting next week on 28th; this is a three-day course, in order to broaden business vision, adjust the pace, turn crisis into a turning point.

    GTI is an international think tank resides in the US capital Washington, D.C., CDRI has signed the 4th MOU with: In addition to enhance the international vision of Taiwan's business services industry, it is hoped that through cooperation with international think tanks, CDRI will become a world-class service industry think tank.

    Vice Chairman of GTI, Jennifer Hu pointed out that currently they are Taiwan’s largest think tank in US, thus will have first-hand current international observation, including members across the United States, Taiwan and Europe, its research areas specializing in the analysis of East Asian policy, US-Taiwan relations, China-Taiwan interactive trends and other issues, this time through signing MOU as formal collaboration, will help CDRI have zero time difference and zero error in exchange of information, so that both sides of the research program and persuasion strategy is amended, strengthen the global policy research depth and immediacy.
