    New Force: Female Successor/ Male and Female Ratio: 1:1 for First Time/ Second Generation/ Entrepren

    Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI) sensed that the successor of second generation from enterprise is the main subject that many small and medium-sized enterprises are currently in urgent needs. After the success in 2016, 17th of today, the 3rd Annual "Second Generation of Entrepreneurs in Sustainable Development Program" starts, continue to assist more enterprises to train successors, with the current enrollment of total 14 students, and for the first time that male to female ratio of 1:1, women have become a new trend as successors!

    Tain-Tsair Hsu, chairman of the speech, said the rise of women in the world, in the second generation of this class has reflected fully, of which the proportion of male and female for the first time reaching 1:1, men apparently are not sole preferred successors anymore, women can be the leader of family business now.

    President Lung-Fa Hsieh also further stated that the emphasis on training young business owners has always been a concern; with many years of his experience in corporate counseling, he believes, in time, giving them the reminder and guidance they need, as such from our course instructors: Daikin President Tony Soo, IBM General Manager Jennifer Hwang, EP-Books Founder Sheng-Yi Dai, Gloria Outlets Vice President John Chen, and other well-known industry speakers. For the courses, there are strategic lecture, success and failure analysis, innovative business model, growth strategy, cross-border E-commerce and many more. Something new this time is the leadership lecture, having invited IBM General Manager Jennifer Hwang, who is one of our board supervisors to speak at closing ceremony. Biggest feature of the course is arranging students to work closely with EP-Books Founder Sheng-Yi Dai and Gloria Outlets VP John Chen, personally guided by these two high-level business leaders to participate in the daily management activities, in order to learn their management essence and brilliance.

    In addition, CDRI also provides its own resource and technical energy, these successors can participate in the monthly business practice lecture hall, listen to various CEO from all industry's brilliant dialogue, adding two arranged visits to corporate companies, enhance the model service learning and the application of emerging technologies.

    Students are from nation’s small and medium-sized enterprises, including chain food, food processing, department stores, manufacturing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, international trade, medical equipment and other industries, the course will be joined, through junior & senior school like system, increase the exchange of learning from each other, the opportunities for business collaborations, leading the way in succession to support and exchange of experience. CDRI provides activity fund helping students held different learning forum and friendship building event spontaneously. Through the assistance of CDRI, students will be able to drive the exchange of different business and generate the effect of alliance development, extension and expand the course of its purpose and effectiveness.
