    Grand Opening of Wow!Taiwan Selects POP-UP Store in Indonesia

    In order to reinforce Taiwan’s image in emerging markets and facilitate product exportation, MOEA opened the first Wow!Taiwan Selects POP-UP Store in Indonesia and Vietnam in 2015. Featuring a fusion of technology, entertainment and trendy design elements, MIT products were marketed using Taiwan’s unique lifestyle. Complemented by elements that are able to evoke resonance among local consumers, the experiential environment of the Wow!Taiwan Selects Pop-Up Stores took local consumers by storm.

    Unveiled on June 22 at the Central Park Mall in Jakarta, Indonesia, the inauguration of the one-week (6/22~28) long Wow!Taiwan Selects Pop-Up Store was attended by Tsai Yun-chung, the Director of the Economic Division of The Taipei Economic and Trade Office (TETO) Jakarta, Indonesia, Secretary Chang Sung-I, Section Chief of the Bureau of Foreign Trade Tseng Yu-yun and Li Chuan-wei, Manager of Taiwan Trade Center, Jakarta. The theme of the Wow!Taiwan Selects Pop-Up Stores “Sports LOHAS” was adopted for the launch in Indonesia. According to Tsai Yun-chung “Taiwan has always maintained a good trade relationship with Indonesia, and we also perceive significant importance in the Indonesian market. Consequently, through this event, it is hoped to introduce specialty products of Taiwan to the Indonesian public, so that they can gain a different impression and appreciation about Taiwan”. During the event, local Indonesian consumers and buyers all expressed astonishment toward the products from Taiwan.
