CDRI and the InvestTaiwan Service Center join efforts to transform Taiwan into the premier destinati

The Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI) signed an MOU with the InvestTaiwan Service Center (ITSC) on April 7, 2015 to create a better business solicitation environment in Taiwan in conjunction with other associations.

During the contract signing ceremony, Industrial Development Bureau Director-general Wu Ming-Ji, Deputy Director-general Leu Jang-Hwa and Department of Investment Services Deputy Director-general Yang Hung-Chun all delivered their addresses, while 6 organizations also forged an alliance during the event, including: the Commerce Development Research Institute, Taiwan CPA, Taiwan Bar Association, Chinese Association of Engineering Consultants, Chinese Association of Real Estate Brokers and Association of Service Industries, Taiwan.

According to Industrial Development Bureau Director-general Wu Ming-Ji, assistance from many professional organizations is required during the foreign investment process, aside from attorneys and accountants, foreign investors searching for land or factory locations also require assistance from the real estate broker and engineering/technical consulting industries. In addition, the service industry is the key industry for future investment, therefore it is hoped that the influence of the CDRI and the Association of Service Industries, Taiwan can be introduced.

The President of the CDRI, Hsu Ying-Chieh, stated that CDRI is honored to be a part of the alliance. Since the service industry is an extremely important industry, and foreign investors are also keenly interested in the development of Taiwan’s service industry, the future is full of opportunity.
