    Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI) launches “Industry Alliance” to assist the service in

    Supervised by the Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) of Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and organized by CDRI, the “Industry Alliance Action Forum – Developing New Features of the Market” took place in hall 101 of the NTUH International Convention Center. The aim of the program is to help Taiwanese businesses to entice foreign clients, increase local consumption, internationalize and embrace business opportunities in ASEAN nations.

    In recent years, developments in the service industry have received increasing attention and business opportunities have been booming in the international service market. SMEs constitute the majority of the Taiwanese service industry, when faced with international competition, how to carry out industry integration through the “Industry Alliance” and take advantage of government, think tanks, academia and business resources are the keys to the internationalization of Taiwan’s service industry.

    According to the President of CDRI Hsu Ying-Chieh, as the domestic service industry develops towards more refined products, specialized division of labor, innovative management and internationalization, CDRI serves as a mutually supportive platform between the industry, government, academia and research institutions under 3 major themes of “Forward-looking Perspective, Innovativeness and Internationalization”, thereby linking various strengths and resources to provide total solutions for the service industry.
