    The business opportunities in Southeast Asia keep attracting enterprises with its enormous potential

      In order to assist Taiwanese SMEs to grasp the business opportunities in Southeast Asia, Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, MOEA, Hua Nan Bank, CDRI and CISA will hold a forum on 19th and 20th November at the International Conference Center in the headquater of Huan Nan Bank. A series of seminars under the theme of“International Expansion of Small and Medium Enterprises, people relevant industries were invited to analyze and share the critical information about entering the Southeast Asian market. Yi-Wei Chen, the head of the tourism e-commerce KKday Malaysia were invited to share KKday's journey through the establishment of the office in Malaysia in 2016 and how to successfully build a multinational business. Also, the CEO Han-Lin Chen of EZTABLE will share how to lead the food service industry to Indonesia, and the senior business director Hsieh of Google Taiwan, will share the necessary skills and strategies of cross-border marketing, the head of Greater China of IBM Mr Rong-Feng Zhang, will share the new strategy of AI smart marketing.

      According to the predictions Economist, the 10 ASEAN countries are expected to become the world's fourth-largest economy by 2030, while in India, the middle class is expected to reach 37.2% of the population by 2025. It is foreseeable that the consumer market in the Southeast Asian market is on the rise. Taiwanese companies should seize the business opportunities as soon as possible. According to statistics, the 10 ASEAN countries take up only 1% of the world's total square measure but contains 7% to 8% of the population of the world. In the past 50 years since the establishment of ASEAN, the real GDP is three times higher than the global average, and its economic activity is 3-4 times the world average. ASEAN has become the third largest market after China and India, with a GDP of 2.5 trillion US dollars, and is already the sixth largest economy in the world. It is currently growing steadily at an economic growth rate of 5% to 7% per year.

      Representative Didi Sumedi, from Economic and Trade Representative Office of Indonesia, Saudah Matisa, Director of the Malaysian Friendship and Trade Center, and the representative Thongchai Chasawath of Thailand Trade and Economic Office are invited to discuss “Investment Opportunities in Indonesia”, “Overview of Malayan Horse E-Commerce Development” and “Taiwan’s Potential Investment Opportunities”.

      KKday, Taiwan-based tourist e-commerce, is mainly engaged in localized experiential tourism. At the beginning of its establishment, it actively used internationalization as its strategy to lay out 10 Asian areas, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam.
